Only one I could see us possibly going after on that list is Anquan. The others are out of our price range.

Boldin at this point is a bigger Cotchery. Look for us to grab a WR in draft.

Yea were going to grab a WR in back to back to back drafts... That sounds reasonable to you?

Sounds better than sign all top free agents and a WR that can be covered by a LB.

Would anyone be interested in RB Chris Johnson??  He earned only $2M last year and though he's 30, could be a good complimentary back to JStew.  He will no longer burn teams with 4.2 40-time, but could be a good veteran back to balance J.Stew, and on the super-cheap. Dude put up over 800 yards last year in 11 games.... not too shabby for an aging back-up speed back that has NC ties.

Lol, never said sign all of those FAs... And 70 rec, and 800 yards is impressive with Blaine Gabbert throwing Boldin the football.

If you say so...  I'm willing to bet he want be a panther either way.

2.) Janoris Jenkins - I could only imagine how unreal the combination of Jenkins and Norman would look. Problem is Jenkins wants to get paid and play as a #1. But let's say Gman had a plan of landing Jenkins for CHEAPER than what an extension with Norman would cost next offseason. It would be interesting to see us let Norman walk next offseason and use the difference between Jenkins and Norman to keep our defensive tackles intact next offseason. To me keeping Star and Short is more important than Norman as much as I love him here, and Jenkins would be a great backup plan.

Hm, seems like i'm not as stupid as everyone said I was.

    • We aren't ignoring it. We also aren't ignoring the Dallas game, the start of this year, or all of last last year. He won himself a spot on the roster next year and being the presumptive QB1 going into camp. That counts for a lot given where he was.
    • I couldn't watch that game specifically and my take is more in general of course - any team can beat any other on any given Sunday in the NFL. The Chiefs are not juggernauts this year by any means and I'd be shocked if they go too deep in the playoffs, but that is kind of my point; Carolina kicked 4 field goals of 33 yards or less that day. Gotta have TDs against the best to win and even 1 TD instead of a field goal wins that game. Is that all on Bryce? No, and no game comes down to a single play (e.g. the Eagles drop, Chuba's OT fumble, etc). MY point is that I'm not seeing anything yet that projects him above that Bridgewater/Smith level and these game outcomes are exactly in line with that performance trajectory.
    • Happy to see Bryce get better--until we have a top 10 QB, however, you keep shopping.  He has until we find someone better to prove himself. If he lessens the need, he extends his longevity.  That is how it is for all NFL players.
