Dolphins expected to sign Mario Williams. Possible FA implications

The Dolphins have got to get money from somewhere to sign Mario Williams, and if that happens as expected then Olivier Vernon, Cameron Wake and Brent Grimes may be outta there.

With Williams departing the market, will that make Dave Gettleman think twice about Vernon? Probably not because the price may still be likely too high. 

Cameron Wake has slowed a little in the run game, but as a pass rusher he still makes his presence felt. 

I would love to have Brent Grimes (and crazy Miko :)), but does his level of play price him out of our market even at his advanced age?

Our window for a Superb Owl is very much still open, and though players like Wake and Grimes might be thought of as stopgap measures, could they help us fill those gaps with a Lombardi?

Can't see us paying Vernon what he will likely fetch on the open market.  Grimes?  Hell no.  His play has really dropped off and his wife is off the rails bat poo crazy.   Wake?  We have enough dedicated pass rushing specialists.  We need another three down DE.

Yep....Getts never has done anything the first week or two in FA. Waits until the smoke clears and then start shaking the trees.

Mario @$8/yr probably means CJ is in the $6/yr which is in the range that we offered.
