I don't get the cargo short hate.  I'll only wear cargo shorts.  I also have thunder thighs, so the extra space is helpful.  They are great when I am doing some work for screws, bits, and other assorted hardware.  Also great for trips out for extra necessities.

Then again, when I play D&D, the first thing I buy for my characters are extra belt pouches...  You can never have too many pockets!

What do you do for pants then?

Personally,  I just left side-pipe for the most part and then jostle my junk around way too much and make everyone uncomfortable.

It's a struggle, but some pants are better than others.  There is some implied discomfort that I'm willing to deal with in a pair of slacks.  Shorts are supposed to be comfortable.

Yeah I don't wear shorts much at all. Mainly just carhartt cargo pants or carpenter's pants and on special occasions dress pants of course.

I wore cargo's yesterday while planting a red twigged dogwood and some juniper bushes in the yard that I picked up along with the soil and the mulch in my god damned 5.6 liter V8 Nissan Titan with dual exhaust.  I completed the ensemble with some Sperry Topsiders, a free t-shirt I was given at my son's last cub scout camp out, a smelly ass Panther's trucker hat, a pair of Costa's and a cold six pack of Green Man IPA that I used to wash down the fugging jalepeno and cheddar burger and tater tots i cooked my family for dinner on the grill.  Hallelujah, holy sh*t.  If any of you hipster bitches need me to do some man type poo for your girlfriends you need to run it by my wife first OK? Thanks in advance.  Oh and remember this, if you shop at Home Depot you support the Falcons you pansie asses.
