REPORT: Charles Tillman and Cortland Finnegan will not be back

The Panthers aren’t expected to bring back cornerbacks Charles Tillman, who’s recovering from ACL surgery, and Cortland Finnegan, who was a stopgap during the Super Bowl season.

It was too bad Tillman got injured. We could've really used him in the SB. 

He's had a great career and was great for this team when healthy.

I expected Peanut would retire, figured Finnegan would get signed, he played pretty good considering the situation.

Don't see why we wouldn't give Finnegan a minimum deal and let him fight for the nickel CB job in camp.

Tillman may not even be ready to play at all next season due to the timing of his injury so that is understandable. He could possibly be available really late in the season if we need an injury replacement assuming he doesn't retire and rehabs hard.

I kinda thought that we'd bring Finnegan back to compete for nickel since Bene will be competing for # 2 CB. We'll see how things pan out...

Peanut was nothing but a one year rental of a damn good vet. 

Finnegan was called 9ff the couch due to injuries. 

I didn't expect either back.

Didn't expect them to be back, but I would've liked for atleast Finnegan to come back
