Bruce Willis

Quote

Bruce Willis is 60 years old, just slightly older than Bronson’s 53 when he made the 1974 film. As Willis has shown in recent “Red” and “Die Hard” movies, he’s still got plenty of action hero left in him — and now he’ll be trying on the trench coat and revolver of wronged vigilante Paul Kersey.

The series, about an architect whose wife and daughter are violently raped and murdered by men who the court system fails to prosecute, centered on Bronson’s Kersey taking justice into his own hands. As the films went along (with progressively less effective results), the “Death Wish” franchise became a precursor for many of the ’80’s one-man-gang movies that made superstars out of names like Stallone, Schwarzenegger and of course, Bruce Willis — who now appears ready to come full circle with hopes of bringing back the franchise.

Hey, here's a fresh new storyline: "Scumbags hurt tough guy's loved ones. Tough guy gets revenge."

I liked the original Death Wish and its first sequel (the rest were crap) and what guy doesn't like Bruce Willis, but even so I'm not so sure about this idea.
