Which of our guys do we sign before free agency starts

Before free agency starts, RFA tender Remmers.

The rest are old (Cotchery, Harper, Tillman, Finnegan, Velasco), damaged goods (Silatolu, Stephen Hill, Frank Alexander), play an uncommon position (Tolbert), anonymous (Tyronne Green), play a position that's deep in the draft (Love), or are special teamers (Nortman, Webb).

The older guys would be good signings if the injury bug hits mid-season. The damaged goods guys require more hope and faith from the other 31 teams than us. Not many teams have a non-traditional fullback spot Tolbert could play. Tyronne who? Why pay top dollar for a back-up DT like Love when the draft is literally over-flowing with younger and cheaper DT options? Special-teamers can be replaced for similar production unless the player is extraordinary, which neither Nortman nor Webb are. If other teams want to pay these 13 more than we do, it won't sabotage our season. We have more cap space than ever to sign their replacements, and yet another draft of Gettlemagic on the horizon.

I think the three you mentioned will be perfectly fine coming back at a reasonable deal.  Tolbert might try and test the market but the market value for a FB isn't really all that great.

I like Tolbert the Character better than Tolbert the football player. Dudes a genuine guy, super funny, nice, and a great guy to have on the squad for morale. But as a FB, he's honestly not that great. He's a below average blocker, but he adds another wrinkle in the offensive gameplan that many others don't. I see both sides of bringing him back and not bringing him back. 

If he does come back I'd like for it to be at a reasonable price.

I want Remmers back. Dudes awesome and had like 2 bad games all year, unfortunately one was during the super bowl. If nothing else, he's the reincarnation of Hangartner in which he can seriously play anywhere on the line, which is invaluable to have. 

Kyle Love should be priority FA number 1 for us to re-sign in my opinion, just because of how few players we have at DT right now. He played great in a rotational role last year and I look forward to having him back. 

Nortman, I don't know. I think we can do better. If he wants a ridiculous contract, let him walk, we have Swayze Waters now and his name is awesome. 

Amini, I'm on the fence. He proved to be a solid backup for us last year but the dude has never been healthy, so it's not like we could depend on him being available when we actually needed him. 

I'm really interested to see how Gettleman plays things moving forward.

I'll be the oddball and say Webb and Tolbert are gone. I like them both a lot personally, but Tolbert appears absolutely done and we could draft/add a running back in FA.

Webb is a guy who can play multiple positions but is below average at all of them. We don't need to keep a 3rd string QB on the 53, he will never be in a position to play WR, and have you seen the man return kickoffs? Draft a return specialist in the late rounds and we are set.

Doubling down on my unpopular opinions, I think Remmers is the most needed resigning. He was about average this year except against speed rushers such as Von Miller and Beasly, but he should come back for cheap and would be a quality backup if we do happen to find a new starter at RT.
