To be hoppy or to be too hoppy

Lately I've been trying different beers. To me beer is beer. Don't really drink it that much anyways, but I want to be cool...

Not really trying to call out any one beer, but wtf with hops and extra hoppy beers? Tasted almost like plastic to me.

So what are some good not so hoppy beers out there? besides the Miller High LIfe I'm drinking now.(just got off work)

meant to post this in Brews and Bruhs, bruh.

Since you're in the good ol' 336, here's a few non-super-hoppy local brews that you should check out:

Red Oak

Red Oak Hummin' Bird

Natty Greene's Buckshot Amber Ale

Foothills Pilot Mountain Pale Ale

Foothills Torch Pilsner

Foothills People's Porter

Foothills Carolina Blonde

Foothills Sexual Chocolate (get down to the brewery and try this NOW).

Basically, if I was back home in W-S, I would be at Foothills almost daily.

Lone Rider makes a most excellent brown ale called Sweet Josie, worth checking out, and it's a local from Raleigh.

I will say though, everyone has different tasts for beer, personally i'm not a Big IPA fan, but if you search for it you will find something you will enjoy.

I love my Porters and Stouts, and comparing them to the beers you mentioned is night and day, literally.

Also someone else mentioned Red Oak amber ale is by far one of the easiest drinking beers I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying, and I'm not much of a ale guy,

I think the older I get the less hoppy I want my beers.  I dabbled in the hops game the last couple of years but the more I drank them the more I wanted my Coors Light, Miller Lite, etc...go ahead and hate. Or just give me some liquor.

I've had some fun hitting up places like 201 Central here in Charlotte, and World Market for some random beers.  Like this weekend, I tried a Mother Earth Brewing German Lager.  Was good!  One of my favorite semi-hard to find beers are made by Victory Brewing.

Thought this was going to be a thread about @d-dave avitar.

Always be happy.  At least our sun hasn't boiled all the remaining water off our planet yet.  So we can keep making beer!
