I wasn't all that up on the revived Ghostbusters idea when I first heard of it. Heck, Ghostbusters 2 sucked big time even with the original cast. 

The 'all female' angle caused me to raise an eyebrow but didn't really make me feel any more positive about it. This trailer tells me they're just going to wind up recycling a bunch of old jokes and making a very forced looking movie, thus confirming my original suspicions. 

Ghostbusters was a great idea for a single movie and it worked for its time because it was original and had a great cast (plus a super catchy theme song). I don't really think it ever had great franchise potential, but then that's true of a lot of movies and it doesn't stop Hollywood from making endless sequels and reboots trying (and generally failing) to recapture the magic of an original movie all over again.

Doubt I'll bother with this one.

OG Ghost Busters..

Took my wife to go see London Has Fallen and this was one of the previews. Getting the preview on the big screen made it even worse. This movie looks absolutely horrible. McCarthy doesn't have the box office chops to make this work. Hell, Rick Moranis would bring more to this movie. Some things they should just leave alone. This is going to be like creating Animal House with Paris Hilton as the lead. It will be that fugging bad.
