#Bucs RB Doug Martin has hit the market & his market includes at least 6 teams. TB intent on bringing him back. Will he get a DeMarco deal?

Martin, 26, played out his four-year, $6,787,528 rookie contract, which included $5.472 million guaranteed. He made a base salary of $1,315,572 for the 2015 season before becoming an unrestricted free agent in the coming months.

Last year, the Buccaneers opted not to exercise his fifth-year option, which leaves him in position to test the open market.

In 2015, Martin ran for 1,402 yards on 288 carries (4.9 YPC) to go along with 33 receptions for 271 yards receiving and seven total touchdowns over the course of 15 games. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 2 running back out of 67 qualifying players.

One player generating a ton of early interest? #Seahawks OG J.R. Sweezy. I'm told at least 10 teams have expressed serious interest...............

......

John Middlekauf of 95.7 The Game has heard that the 49ers have spoken with the Chiefs about a potential trade involving RB/WR De’Anthony Thomas.

Thomas, 23, was taken in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Chiefs. He’s in the second year of his four-year, $2,665,108 rookie contract and stands to make a bases salary of $600,000 for the 2016 season

In 2015, Thomas appeared in 10 games and ran for 140 yards on 17 carries (8.2 YPC) to go along with nine receptions for 34 yards receiving and two total touchdowns. Thomas also contributed 138 kick return yards and 227 punt return yards.

Jahri Evans visit to #Bills is interesting, anyway. But with talks with Richie Incognito at a standstill, there is drama in the guard market

Evans posted a tweet saying that he was checking out Niagara Falls, so he’s clearly in the Buffalo area.

The Bills could be looking at some potential contingency options in the event they can’t re-sign GRichie Incognito.

Evans, 32, was entering the second year of his three-year, $18 million contract that included $9.5 million guaranteed when the Saints cut him in a move that cleared $1.1 million in available cap space while creating $7.1 million in dead money.

In 2015, Evans appeared in 11 games for the Saints. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 38 guard out of 82 qualifying players.
