With Brock Osweiler off to Houston, RGIII is on Broncos' list of replacement quarterbacks, per source. Could be visiting Denver.

lol

You run a dropback pass / read heavy system that was suited to Peyton Manning, and your replacement options are Colin Kaepernick and RG3...

Heh :)

Side note....is anyone sure Brock is even good?  I mean, he game managed for a damn great defense. Can't exactly blame the Broncos not wanting to go too high with the sample size.

I think there is potential but yeah, you're right.  I think he played two teams that are desperate and just need a QB to be relevant.

Nope, but what I am sure of is that none of the other options are. At least with Brock you've got a chance.

Rotoworld...

Giants agreed to terms with NT Damon Harrison, formerly of the Jets.

It's a big get for a Giants defense that couldn't stop the run last year. They'll now be able to line up "Snacks" Harrison (6'3/339) next to Johnathan Hankins (6'3/320) in an effort to fix those woes. Harrison, 27, finished last season as Pro Football Focus' No. 2 overall run-stopping defensive tackle.

Ugh. He went for way more than I was hoping for. Potential market setter for an eventual Star extension down the road. Not pleased.

@RapSheet
Two players on the radar of the #Broncos now that Brock Osweiler is gone: RGIII and Colin Kaepernick.

Why not 3 ------>The Golden Calf of Bristol ;)>

Wouldn't be surprised if they signed Fitzpatrick or made a play for Keenum. Still ugly options

Questions guys"  Keep this thread going or start a new thread at 4pm?

No strong preference, except for one thing.

If you start a new thread, please make sure this one gets locked so there's only one thread to follow for news.

Thanks.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Broncos list of replacements for QB Brock Osweiler, who just agreed to a deal with the Texans, includes Robert Griffin III and Colin Kaepernick.

  • Jason Cole reports that a 49ers source has told him that they have no interest in trading Kaepernick, despite the reported interest from the Broncos.

Texans are giving Brock Osweiler a 4-year, $72 million deal, per source.
