Mike Klis of 9News is reporting that the Jaguars and DL Malik Jackson are finalizing the details of a contract that will make him the NFL’s fourth highest-paid defensive lineman in the NFL.

According to Klis, this is based on the annual average over the first three, four and five years of the long-term deal.

Had 2 points of interest with Jackson. I hoped he wouldn't sign with a team we play this year, and his contract will help define what KK's deal will be. Glad he's going to Jacksonville, and 4th highest deal for a DL means he didn't reset the market by getting more than Suh or Watt

Dianna Marie Russini reports that the Ravens are showing “strong, strong interest” in Saints free agent TE Ben Watson.

Watson, 35, is coming off of an impressive 2015 season and is in line to be an unrestricted free agent as of tomorrow.

In 2015, Watson appeared in all 16 games for the Saints and recorded 74 receptions for 825 yards receiving and six touchdowns.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Packers are expressing interest in Bears free agent RB Matt Forte.

The Packers have been tossed out as a speculative option for Forte, but it’s surprising to hear that they’re actually considering making a run at him.

Still have Fletcher Cox and Muhammad Wilkerson left to get new deals. Both will come in above Jackson and probably Watt as well. I'd be shocked if they got near Suh though.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Giants are expected to re-sign DE Jason Pierre-Paul to a one-year contract.

• Adam Schefter reports that JPP’s one-year contract can be worth up to $10.5 million.
• Interestingly enough, the Cardinals reportedly made a late push to sign him, according to Schefter.

He is but they are apparently trying hard to get a deal done so they can lower his cap hit for 2016 because they need to re-sign Fitzpatrick or else ride on the Genocoaster. They've only got $6M in space right now.

Cox is on the 5th year option in 2016 so he isn't exactly urgent either, but the Eagles reportedly really want an extension done this offseason.

Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reports that the Ravens have tendered a number of players contract on Tuesday including ERFAs RB Terrance West, WR Daniel Brown, CB Sheldon Price.

GREAT news if true.  I did not want JPP in CLT.
