Jordan Raanan of NJ.com , citing person with knowledge of the situation, reports that free agent DE Mario Williams is not in play for the Giants, despite reports that he could visit with the team.

  • Raanan adds that Williams can be crossed off as a potential target for the Giants.

Williams has already visited with the Dolphins, and reportedly has interest from the Jaguars as well, but it sounds like the Giants are considering different options at defensive end.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that the Jets are among several teams interested free agent CB Adam Jones.

I've been saying that the FA market is going to be insane and everything you think you know abou the current market for contracts is going to be blown out of the water and even I am shocked at the Dwayne Allen deal. Grigson is such a clown.

When the market opens tomorrow, Kelechi Osemele will become the newest member of the #Raiders. The two sides have an agreement in principle.

Rand Getlin of NFL Media reports that the Raiders and OL Kelechi Osemele have reached an agreement in principle.

The expectation has been that Osemele will end up being the highest paid guard in the NFL at $10 million per year in his next contract.

Osemele, 26, was taken in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Ravens. He played out his four-year, $3.34 million rookie contract and was set to be one of the best available offensive lineman in this year’s free agent class.

In 2015, Osemele has appeared in 14 games for the Ravens and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 18 offensive tackle out of 77 qualifying players.

Osemele's market was incredibly hot. When the deal is announced, it'll blow the top off of the OG market. Huge get for the #Raiders.

Rand Getlin of NFL Media reports that the Raiders and OL Kelechi Osemele have reached an agreement in principle.

  • Ian Rapoport reports that Osemele’s contract will make him one of top-5 highest paid offensive linemen in NFL at mover $11 million per year.

Adding on:

There is some speculation that Osemele will eventually end up playing OT which is where he finished out the year for Baltimore due to injury and did well at it. Especially if the Raiders aren't able to retain Donald Penn which doesn't seem too likely given his age,33, and apparent ridiculous salary demands, $10M/year.

Osemele's contract is one to pay attention to for Panthers fans because that is going to be the starting point for an extension for Trai Turner next year or the year after. Osemele is going to set the market and Turner is in the same class as a young, top 5 OG.

Matt Kalil being kept by the Vikings.  Bummer.  Spielman actually showing signs of a brain cell.  I know he's been average at best at times but it's not often you get to buy low/sell high with a still young former top 4 pick and potential long term LT.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, citing a source with knowledge of the situation, reports that the Dolphins are the “clear front-runners” to sign veteran DE Mario Williams.

In fact, Florio adds that there’s currently a push from the Dolphins to sign him to a contract Tuesday.

Williams, 30, was in the fourth year of his six-year, $96 million contract when he was released earlier in the week in a move that freed up $12.9 million in cap space for the Bills.

In 2015, Williams appeared in 14 games and recorded 17 tackles and four sacks for the Bills. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 47 defensive end in a 4-3 defense out of 51 qualifying players.

Update***

Jason Cole reports that the Dolphins are nearing a deal with DE Mario Williams that could be worth roughly $8 million per year.

  • Cole adds that this could lead to the Dolphins releasing DE Cameron Wake.
  • According to Cole, the Dolphins are still trying to figure out way to replace DE Olivier Vernonand remove the transition tag, which would net them a compensatory pick in 2017 once he signs elsewhere.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Denver and Houston are shaping up to be the two “primary potential landing spots” for free agent QB Brock Osweiler.

The Broncos clearly want Osweiler back, but reports from recent days have said that the Texans could be the one team that could stand in the way of him returning to Denver.

Increasingly unlikely that Lamar Miller returns to Miami.

Do you ever shut up? You don't know jack poo you assumptions are hilarious.

Feel free to ignore me then, but I think you'll find I'm much closer to being right than I am to being wrong once the details of all the new contracts signed in FA start to come out in the next few days.

  • Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports that the Vikings are retaining LT Matt Kalildespite talk that he could be a cap casualty.
  • According to Fowler, the Vikings’ pursuit of Ravens OL Kelechi Osemele has been for him to play guard.

Only 3 of the Top 13 picks from the 2007 draft are still playing: Browns OT Joe Thomas, Vikings RB Adrian Peterson, Panthers WR Ted Ginn.
