How the fug did DG not get a GM job before us? We are so damn lucky

Indeed.

It's awesome that we've really gotten to see Gettleman at his best in a difficult situation.  I mean Cap Hell, rebuilding several position groups, cutting star players to save cash, and STILL back-to-back-to-back division champs, NFC champs and Super Bowl contenders.

Gettlemagic gets to be seen in all its glory much more obviously than if he'd come into a peachy situation.  SWEET.

at only 29 I still think Johnson could be a productive player but just not worth the price he was getting paid.

I expect if healthy he'll use this as motivation and have a pretty good year next year and people will wonder why he didnt do that when he was here. lol

At one point Charles was the highest paid player in the entire league. We took good damn care of him financially. Which is why I really hope he takes the high road on this, and appreciating the organization without going insane with saltiness like Deangelo Williams has.

I don't want to make this a bash type of thing, I know he dealt with injuries, and I wish him the best. I just also wish he had stepped up more when we really needed him, that might have made the difference for us with the Lombardi Trophy.

Best of luck CJ.

It was inevitable. I thought he still had some left in the tank, but you should of took the pay cut Charles. Time to draft a young DE to groom, sign Coples, and watch Kony blossom.....Let the cullings continue, this and Marty money any more folks
