I'll almost guarantee you that he'll hold out.

Just let his butt go. He's not exactly a saint in the locker-room and he is not worth a tag.

If anyone should get a tag, it should be Tolbert (if Tolbert is indeed a free-agent and gets the FB designation rather than the RB distinction.)

Josh isn't worth a penny over 9-million per and I think that's being generous considering how he ended the season compared to how he began.

I have questions about his motor and attitude but I don't blame him for trying to go out and get his...because this is his one shot to get a career deal.

I agree

I didn't know we signed Coleman in the offseason, I thought we picked him up mid-season.

mistve got him confused with another player.

Maybe you're thinking of Finnegan?

Also, irregardless isn't a word.

Honestly, its the stupidity of some teams overpaying for average players that makes it so hard for us to agree to terms on guys like Norman. How can you blame him for wanting for money when guys like Maxwell are getting $12 million salaries?

Stupid teams unfortunately set the market value for players as well. This CB gets this deal from stupid team, now all the actually good CB's look at that deal and go well I'm worth at least 3-4 million more per season easily. Then when an actually good CB hits the market they get QB money in the 15-17 range. Repeat cycle with just larger numbers.

I've seen reports that Josh's agent is looking at 15-16 million a season in open free agency and was likely to get offers in that range but since he's not on the open market....I wouldn't be too sure he still gets that kind of deal, but we will see.

This is why I don't want Gman overpaying JNo, DBs especially CBs are way to streaky and JNo got beat a fair share of times last season.

Just saw somewhere that Josh wants Patrick Peterson money. HELL NO. At least Peterson contributes to special teams, and does it well. I dunno. Yeah, he had 4 picks in the first 4 games, but then fell off a cliff when it comes to stats and IMO, looked very average in the last couple of games (from ATL game on).

Stats meaning Ints? Hard to get those when you aren't being thrown at much. He also had one of the NFL's lowest burn rates, the top PR when thrown at

He's the only player in the last five seasons to have over 15 PD and 2 Td in a season. Add in his FF and run support and a cb hasn't had as good of a statistical year in almost 10 seasons.

Mr Revis in his prime type of season, so yea his stats back up his top 3 cb pay demands.

I guess my big issue, then, is I want to see more than one season of good from a player before he gets paid like a perennial All Star. If he was doing this for the last two years, then I'd feel better about it. but it seems like Josh had one good year, playing in a defense that maybe he skills wouldn't translate well in a different one, got a big head and now wants to get paid. Just a slightly bad taste in my mouth personally.
