Yeah, I'm excited to add someone to the D-line early. He is basically the same size as CJ: one inch taller and 3 pounds heavier. He can come in and be stout on the run immediately and learn pass rush moves as he goes. He can also move inside on 3rd downs.

CJ is gonna stick around for another year, just so we can get a rookie to get meaningful snaps in the rotation and take over for CJ as soon as he can be let go.

i wouldn't be surprised to see us go DL with both of our first 2 picks unless there is a safety that we fall in love with.

i wonder what CJ's trade value is. It's just a shame Hardy went off the deep end because having Kraken and Ealy would have us set and we could trim more fat by cutting CJ.

pipe dreams and such.

He's on my radar for sure. I posted a time or two about him but certainly not anything that in-depth; thanks for the write-up. Obviously a highlight tape doesn't tell the whole story but he really looks explosive and like a sure tackler. I had rewind a couple of times to see how he was able to get so far upfield so quickly. Line-play (both sides) is for grown, you need strength and violence; I think those things flash on his tape and I think those things are what DG is looking for.

I think we go d-line 2 out of top 3 picks and he is one of them - we may even see a trade up in the 2nd to get him. Can you imagine ealy, short, star, bullard  with Luke, TD, Shaq backing them? You might as well just go ahead and sit your rb on the bench.

That dude is wrecking some serious Havoc in the back field.  I could see him being there with our 2nd pick and would definitely like to strengthen the DL and keep a fellow North Carolinian in Charlotte!  Also, another bright side is he would be a great RE with his run stopping but also can move into DT on passing downs.  Good versatile player.
