I'd honestly expect this kinda thread about Remmers,  but not Philly, he isn't the best wr we have, but he isn't ba. Smh

Sorry for that but reality is while he has been solid for a undrafted player.. His body catching,  lack of special team duties and getting injured easily doing what we would ask any WR to do is a little worrisome. . And maybe we bring in competition for with his skill set..

Imo all this offense needs is a dependable slot type shifty WR.. Who can take a short pass or screen to the house.. While being able to run the routes PHILLY does.. Also could help on special teams and doesn't get hurt making difficult catches..

I hope it doesn't sound like I'm saying "hey guys I have an idea, how about we put an all-pro at every position?" We have KB, Funchess, and Olsen. Expanding on that with another proven top quality WR would make me feel a lot better about our situation. Drafting another TE to groom and eventually replace Olsen wouldn't bother me either. Actually there is WR in this draft who is a bit similar to KB, and we might be able to snag him at the bottom of the second. We have cash to spend in FA. We need to take a long look at the WRs available. And if the unproven journeymen turn into good WRs then great. Fantastic. But we're trying to win the SB now.

I actually want a WR built like Philly or a shorter type who can make plays in space and can take a high completion type pass from Cam and take it to the house.. I think we have the Big WR guys covered..

I worry about KB going down again. Big tall guy making quick cuts and taking big hits. I wouldn't mind having another guy similar to him being trained, and if anything happens to KB season ending wise, or just for 1 or 2 games, we can plug this guy in his spot and not suffer a loaded box. We can take care of that in the bottom of the second round.

And we shouldn't stop there of course. We need an explosive WR who can actually get yac. No grandpas and butterfingers.

Funchess, Hill, and Norwood are all consider bigger WR types. . None are as physical as KB but you're not going to find many like KB when it comes to physicality. . But they all are 6'2 and bigger.. I think this offense needs a Brandon Cook, Tavon Austin  type more than another KB..

Quick, shifty all satellite player would take this offense to the next level. .

I'm not thinking of the situation as either or. We can have both.

I like this guy in the second:

You know what holds Philly back more is the dam body catching..

If he trusted his hands more he would be a more explosive player..

If he would catch with hands .. His yards after catch would be higher and he would take less hits ..

He gets open constantly but he takes so much time securing the ball .. He doesn't have time to make moves after the catch and gives more time for the defender to catch up to him..

But if you get this guy or the other guys i named you would have both.. like I said with KB back you would have 4 guys 6'3 and taller going into camp.. And Norwood is 6'2.. We have a surplus of big WR..

Well I'm not the GM, but I wouldn't have any problem cutting the big WRs who lose the competition. No problem.

You're talking about a lot of young guys thoe.. Maybe we find out what we have 1st .. Before bringing in another big guy.. with 5 guys going into camp you already have a pretty good competition. .

Gettleman seems to like Norwood, Hill, and even Bersin. I don't know about the level of competiton with those guys, but ultimately armchair GMing is just fan fun.
