This guy reminds me a little of Cedric Benson who parlayed a first round pedigree and mediocre production into a 7 year career. He does just enough to stick around.

Trent has literally done nothing. So I don't know what enough means.

IDK Benson was actually decent for a few years there - had 3 1000+ yard seasons.

The guy has the worst vision and instincts as a runner that I've ever seen at the NFL level.  Unfortunately, I don't know how that can be coached.

Richardson was actually a good signing by my secondary NFL team. Let me explain why.

Richardson has all the physical tools to be a good RB. His biggest problem is obviously his lack of vision in the line/hole. That can be easily fixed. This is stuff High School RBs learn. If he hits the film room with him not getting a ton of carries for his first few seasons. His body is still in good shape. The Ravens would not've sign him unless they believe he can be coached up. He could be a good steal for the Ravens.

He had a really good rookie year and then got traded and had to learn a new system, pissed off the colts, got released and never got a chance in Oakland. There is still hope for him.

The only reason the Ravens signed him is because Ozzie Newsome is the GM and he played at Alabama the same as TRich.
