Gettleman says they are still evaluating Charles Johnson. Says it was tough to evaluate him last year because of the injuries.

Main takeaway from DG off podium just now - he's not as down on Mike Remmers as most would be after that Super Bowl.

No brainer to bring him back really. $2M for a 2nd round tender and the long term RT is already on the roster. No need for any real movement at that position. Possible long term solution at LT would be what needs to be addressed if a guy falls to us in the 1st.

DG was asked twice about Charles Johnson. Both answers lacked much assurance he’ll be back.

The usual Panic Bunnies will probably pitch a fit about Remmers.

As I recall, a few years back we were also "confident" in receivers King and McNutt...until they were replaced.

That said, he's right. We won a lot of games with Remmers starting.

I also recall many huddles praising Remmers for his solid job against Watt in week 2. I believe some posters were saying Watt got "Remm Jobbed". I am not worried about Remmers. He was serviceable all year minus the Owl and we have Williams who will be a stud.

One game, even the super bowl, does not a player make. Remmers has been solid. But we will always be looking for upgrades.

Not even sure what there is to panic about. He's an RFA so he can be brought back relatively cheap and Daryl Williams was drafted last year as the RT of the future. His replacement is already on the roster.
