Travis Benjamin, he be a free agent and poo bruh

Cam has two towering WRs who can go up and get the ball in KB and Funch.  So no Alshon is not a priority.  Cam obviously has a lot of success with the deep ball when he has a speed receiver who excels in those situations,  especially with Cams arm strength and ability to keep plays alive.  Not to mention keeping defense honest with the threat of taking the top off.  Those who actually watched football this year other than just the Panthers clearly saw Travis have success is that area with a lack of talent at QB.  He is the perfect Ginn replacement in my opinion, and would be a fantastic signing of the money is right.  Good returner as well..

can we just stfu with these WR threads. Cam fuging put up 50 TD's last year without our best WR.

We get Benjamin back and keep the rest of our core

WR is not a need at all this offseason.

I love this argument. Oh Cam won MVP, we had the number 1 offense, we made it to the superbowl, now its Cam had 50 TD

The reality is we had all those things IN SPITE of our receivers. If we had a middle of the road receiving core Cam would have had 60 TD ran away with MVP, and won the Superbowl. The main fuging reason we lost the SB was  cause of our receivers.

I wouldn't mind Benjamin at the right price, especially considering he would be our third or fourth receiver. But I suspect that the price will be enough to our us off if the Browns haven't got a deal done and Benjamin is going to test free agency.

If we want another speedy receiver to stretch the field, I think I'd rather see us target one in the draft.

Could you imagine KB, Funchess, Olsen, Travis, and Ginn all on the same field though?  Hey, Defensive Coordinators.

Right Tackle is not a major priority, anyone who thinks Gettleman won't give Daryl Williams every opportunity is kidding themselves.  Money will not be spent on the position, and if Remmers ends up starting again I don't think we will lose any sleep over it.  Can we do better? Absolutely but u can't have all stars everywhere there's a cap for a reason..WR depth, especially speed WRs is a priority.  If KB doesn't recover right, or Funch or Ginn gets hurt we are right back to being limited at the position..

It would certainly be a challenge for any defense. The question is, how much does Travis want?

After last season he could find himself in the Golden Tate bracket - that's $6 million or so a season. Is it realistic or sensible to pay the fourth receiver on the depth chart that much money when his playing time will be restricted?

Im not sure we should shell out that kinda cash with what we've got unless there are serious concerns one or more of KB, Funchess and Ginn as our receivers going forwards.

The other reason for not shelling out the money is because Norman is due a big pay day, and we've got other potentially big contracts on the way - eg imagine what Short is going to command if he repeats or betters last season. So I think after getting us out of cap hell, I'm not sure Gettleman will pursue a higher price receiver. It would be nice to add another weapon, but I think Travis Benjamin's price tag will be too high for a fourth receiver. And thats without considering if he wants a greater role on offense, something we are not really going to be able to give him.

A speedy receiver with good hands is a must, but like the tackle position, I'm not sure Gettleman is going to shell out the kinda salary that Travis Benjamin will command for a fourth guy on the depth chart. I think he's more likely to try and pluck another Ginn from the bargain bucket, or look to add a mid round receiver and hope he can find a Martavius Bryant or Donte Moncrief type receiver (talented enough to be a number #2 receiver with good coaching and development) or a Tyler Lockett (special teams wiz and developing receiver).

Travis Benjamin would worst case be the number 2 WR on this team. There is no way Ginn, Funchess or Philly are ahead of him on the depth chart.
