"Yupping it up on the sidelines" means nothing. A coach can enjoy a player and still not think they're the best for achieving a given goal, in this case winning long term. I'm not saying you're definitvely wrong about the shrewd management aspect since that could be the case, but unless Canales is somehow satisfied with the performances that have been put on the field and that's all part of the plan then he should absolutely be (will absolutely be if he's a decent coach) looking for someone that can execute the plan better even if he gets along well with Bryce. -

I think once we get a great C, we will be. BC and Mays are average or lower. That's fine but we need a real solution there for years to come. -

But their fans simp for their players left and right. Regardless of how ill suited to the NFL they typically are.
