D Henry does look way more athletic than the Trent Richardsons, so to speak, that normally come out of Alabama.

Several good OLineman out there today.  Spriggs in my opinion, helped himself a bit today and I love Ryan Kelly C from Alabama.  Would not mind seeing him late second

It seems to me that the "deep at DE and CB" that keeps getting parroted about this year's class means there aren't any studs, just a lotta mid range guys.  Only one or two of the CBs strike me as blue chippers (Hargreaves and probably Ramsey), and none of the DEs are really sure fire guys.  None of the DEs would have higher than a late 1st round grade from me except MAAAAYBE Bosa, and even he would be stretching it.  I think it's a good year to spend the whole draft on DEs and DBs and hope we strike it rich with at least a couple.

Agreed, other than a couple of OT's and a RB, I don't see tons of guys that won't need a bit of time before making their impact at the next level.

Also, with the QB talk.  I think the 3rd 4th and 5th best QB are all up for grabs as far as where they go.  I would not doubt that we get an offer at the end of the first to drop back to the top of the second round.

    • Weird things also happen when you include garbage time games in your averages. Chicago and Washington he came in with like 2 min left.  The remaining 9 games which he started, 1,737 yards, 193 yards/game. Still low but let’s all be clear the number reported isn’t correct.
    • Our talent level is so low, and our defensive needs so vast, that just about any position we take in the first round at DL, LB, S would make us immediately better. I wouldn't even be "upset " if we took Will Johnson or Hunter at CB. Those guys would make us make our pass defense better overnight. My only drawback to to those guys would be the fact that they wouldn't heavily impact our RUN DEFENSE.  As some have pointed out, our run defense is historically bad. You won't compete for championships if teams are gashing for 150-200 yards every game. A stud at DT, DE, LB, or even a hard hitting/in the box  Safety would help that issue immediately. But, if you did take a shutdown corner, you could use the rest of the draft and FA to solve our other issues.
    • The 7 years just resets every time we hire a new coach lol
