1. Carolina Panthers: football fan first and foremost.

2. Orlando Magic: I fell for this team during the back half of the 1990s. I missed the Shaq era, but caught the end of Penny Hardaway and Nick Anderson. Then there was Tracy McGrady who was amazing for four seasons. Dwight Howard was a favorite until he left. 

3. San Jose Sharks: Not sure why, but played as them on an early ice hockey game. I liked the logo and colors. Ended up following them in real life. 

4. San Jose Earthquakes: When I started watching soccer these became my team because Donovan played for them. Winning the MLS cup twice in 2001 and 2003 helped, only team of mine to win a championship! 

5. Charlotte Hornets/Bobcats: My second team in the NBA because of my support for the Panthers. Though slightly awkward because they're in the same division as Orlando...

I grew up near Boone and was in high school at the time of the National Championship years for App. It just so happens I can catch all of their games still on TV or on the radio since their move to the Sun Belt.

I am a student at ECU so as my money goes there, I am a fan. Though extremely disappointed that the administration would fire a coach who actually had a winning record against ACC teams in his tenure. ECU wanted out of the "Little Brother" talk and with McNeil they got it. If the school has a couple of down seasons with a new staff, support for the program is fickle. 

(I never got into the Wal-Mart fandom of the UNC or Duke or State "fans".)

In no particular order, I love all my teams.  However, if I could pick one team to win a championship it would be the Panthers because they are the only one of my favs that have not won a title yet.  

Carolina Panthers

Los Angeles Lakers (16 titles in their history.  Most recently 2009 and 2010)

California Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (2002 world series champs)

Los Angeles Kings (2012 and 2014 Stanley Cup winners)

UCLA and University of Southern California (like them both, they have both won titles, UCLA in basketball numerous times, most recently 1995 and USC in football numerous times, most recently 2003 and 2004)

I have scrubs that I wear to work for all of these teams.  My wife surprised me last month with Panthers scrubs :)
