Selling a house

I actually want to move to Dillworth as soon as I can.  I live in Indian Trail but, I didn't work uptown at that point when I bought it.  The drive is killing me.  I can save like an hour a day of my life if I lived closer to uptown.  Wife and me have no kids so seems like a good idea.

Highly recommended.  Getting out of work at 5:00 and getting home at 5:05 for the win.

pff, my value has gone up about 75% in 4 years.  The benefit of buying in the hood on the fringes of nice areas I suppose.

Yep, there is heavy in flow of younger population in Charlotte who wants to live near uptown...  That's why everything is going through the roof.  Go millennials!

And my contract offer for a house in Ballantyne was accepted.

It just mind blowing how houses in Ballantyne just fly off the market.  If a house goes on sale on Friday, it literally sales within 24 hours.

We seen a house that gone on sale on Friday and by Saturday 3pm it had 5 offers.  We were not the highest bidder (probably lowest) but they picked us because we gave them the option to rent it back from us if they can't find a new home within 6 months.

Its like that where I am, too.  My neighborhood in matthews, in the winter mind you, houses are coming on and off the market 2-3 days max.  Charlotte real estate is HOT right now.

Man I really want to move uptown but I have some repairs to get done and whatnot and I keep putting it off.  I guess I need to find a good handyman or something.

You don't have to fix them in a fast paced RE market.

Put the house on the market if you want to sell it.  Then you can negotiate the repairs if you get a contract.  If you don't get an offer soon, you can do it yourself.

Some people don't care about the small repairs if the price and location are right.

I may.  I kind of want to replace the carpet, it's the junk they first put down when a home is built and it could really help the look inside and shouldn't cost too much.

Home Depot, 0% on a credit card for the first 18 months.  Sell the house, and pay off the card with the income.
