By cutting Chris Long, James Laurinaitis and Jared Cook, the Rams save $24.375 million on their 2016 cap. They'll carry ~ $4.7M in dead $$.

If he's brought on for the right price, Chris Long might be a nice addition.  Just not sure he'd want to come here after what happened the last time we played the Rams at home.

Chris Long has 4 sacks over the last two seasons combined. Cook is decent but they massively overpaid him, so his release is not all that surprising. I have no idea why they released Laurinaitis, that's a bit of a head scratcher.
