Who are you to say what is and isn't a commitment for someone?

You do realize he was hosting 3 shows and doing sideline and after game interviews right?

Oh no, he was working maybe 30 hours a week for 6 months out of the year.  How did his family survive without him?

Earlier this week someone wondered about whether this could be a role for Beason (at the time speculating that he could pair up with Gross.)

Another name comes to mind.... Peanut Tillman.  He has been lighting up the media circuit.  He could have an AWESOME future in broadcasting, though I'm hoping he might still have one more season of at least limited time on the field as a player.

Tillman is in line for much, much bigger gigs than a team specific sideline reporter or interview host. He'll get hired by a national show when he hangs it up. NFLN seems like the spot where he'd land.

If your job is hosting a podcast and attending football games 1 day a week for 16 weeks and you still want more time with your family, you're probably smothering your family lol

You realize he was working at least 5 days a week that we saw.  It is hard to say how much he did behind the scenes.  Plus, travel away from his family during training camp and 10 weeks a year (not including playoffs).

The more time he spends with his family the less time I can spend with them.

Agree that Tillman is being groomed for a national broadcasting role.  I wasn't really suggesting he could take over for Gross, but wouldn't it be fun if he did!
