This bums me out big time. I loved this is gross and his closeness to the players. Very upset by this.

 I really liked Gross gonna miss the guy, but he's worth millions and this was just a hobby for him, so we will see what he decides to do next

He was doing Panther Talk on Mondays for 1110 radio and TWCsports video. Tuesday he did This is Gross interviewing a player. Thursdays he did Panthers Breakdown where he would go over game film. Then on game day he would do the sideline reporting for 1110 then do interviews after the game. This is gross was great insight into a player outside of football and really got you to know them. Panthers Breakdown was the best information about why, how, and what went wrong in the games. He is very football smart and really helped me understand our teams gameplan than anything. Very sad he's leaving.

Earlier this week someone wondered about whether this could be a role for Beason (at the time speculating that he could pair up with Gross.) 

Another name comes to mind.... Peanut Tillman.  He has been lighting up the media circuit.  He could have an AWESOME future in broadcasting, though I'm hoping he might still have one more season of at least limited time on the field as a player.
