amongst NFL oLinemen centers tend to have the highest longetivty rate.also ,i personally agree with you that Kalil has more than likely at least a few good years left in the tank

however,DG extending a 31 year old center and paying him what hes worth seems unlikely.Kalil is set to make around 8 million this season and would be asking off the top of my head at least roughly 30 million on a 3 year extension.

Not sure anyone would pay 10 million a year for a 31 yr old center. This is complete speculation but I would like to restructure his contract and maybe change some of his salary to a signing bonus so he gets the money upfront, and agree to sign is brother to a multi-year contract. Maybe the idea of ensuring he gets to play with his brother for a few years is something he would be interested in at this point in his career. And, if his brother is half the teammate Kalil is, he'd be a great addition to the locker room.

I think there is a lot of good thought into the mock, really interesting discussion for sure.  That said, there is NO WAY we don't sign a safety.  We just booted Harper and that would mean we would A)trust Boston to be a starter at safety and B)trust Dean Marlowe as a backup, neither of those things are going to happen unless there are injuries in preseason, so because of that, I'm gonna say that's not likely.

I think OP took a great stab at it. Good job OP. Of course it's ridiculously early since the combine will change the narrative on a lot of guys.

i think a key to this that we will never know is the interviews. They are evaluating these guys on their physical capabilities yes. But they are looking at locker room fit and coachability. We won't know how these guys fit that mold.

But mocks are fun and essentially throwing chicken bones.
