granted i feel for the guy because cancer has ravaged his family and he lost his mother recently.  everybody reacts to that differently and it can be worldview shattering.

oh well i still look back fondly on his 2008 season.  and to think he didn't really get rolling until week 5 or 6.  he might have rushed for 2000 yards if he had started the season hotter.

DLo was one of Hurney's best ever draft picks. Look at the other RBs selected that year. Reggie Bush, Laurence Malroney, Joseph Addai, Lendale White, all washed out while Williams was setting NFL records. Point out his idiotic behavior in the 8th year of his career but don't question that he was a good draft pick.

I think that"s some sort of HR document required by the league used by all teams. I can't imagine that's all the Panthers do when they let a player go.

I remember when talks about Dwill surfaced while he was still here and people were all on his dick...now he is going out of his way to justify everything people said about him...as far as fake smiles go...maybe it was Dwill who should have gotten attention for that....never seen one as fake as his.

He's also bitch made....how many people have even done this before? No one showed up to your moms funeral because no one liked you and you're an asshole...wish the Panthers would just air that out and get it out of the way.

He averaged a paltry 3.5 ypc in 2014 and zero runs over 20 yards. With that kind of production what team would keep him even at half the salary? Its not a coincidence that this team came together after certain players were no longer on the team. DWill is one of those players.

Williams' 2008 was awesome though.

I'm betting most things like this are required through the Collective Bargaining Agreement and/or NFL Legal.

Yeah filling our biggest position of need with a player who was better than the #2 overall pick was just such a mediocre draft pick lmao

      Shaq tore his achilles. I repeat, torn achilles. 10 year vet that didn't make it out of September two years running.  I think he deserves to stick around and prove it but I would not be counting on him being the player he was.
