The only thing that brought me here was people mentioning on the Orangemane (Broncos forum) that from CarolinaHuddle, complained of the officials giving being one-sided for Denver, or your team was just one play from winning.  And then I read that members of your forum would claim Carolina wins 85-90 times out of 100.  Come on!!! That's ridiculous.

As for the officials, if anything, they favored Carolina.  The Cotchery drop (Ron Rivera's first challenge) just before Von's strip sack Malik touchdown, zoomed up close up images proved the tip of the ball hit the ground and the ball moved after that.  Clear as day incomplete.  I don't hear of all the holds against Von Miller never called, not even once.  As for the total penalties called, yeah, more on Carolina, but many of those were personal fouls late in the game, or numerous false starts against the offense.  You going to blame the officials for that?  The officiating actually favored Carolina, albeit slightly.

No way Carolina wins this 85-90 times out of 100.  Denver (especially their D) was disrespected all year.  Yeah, everyone knew it was pretty good, but really, no one outside of Denver knew how dominant it has been.  Despite shutting down and abusing Roethlisberger.  Despite shutting down and abusing Brady.  And your coaching staff completly overlooked how great Denver's D was, coming out with a gameplan thinking that your team can just do what they do and be successful against Denver.

If your team, had a MVP for keeping them in the game, it would be Peyton, as his incompetence as qb is the only reason your team stayed within striking distance for much of the game.

You are on crack if you think Denver is the better team.   Yes, they got the best of us one game, but we'd easily win 7 or 8 out of ten.  Don't get it twisted.  Now, take your ass back to your orangehair fan club like a good little bandwagoner

WR was not the game-breaking issue by any stretch of the imagination.

You do not think the Broncos loading the box and sending everyone at the run/cam while only going man was a game-breaking issue? They had no respect for the Panthers WRs or TEs. They doubled no one and never worried about keeping a safety over the top of any of the WRs.

Wh6 would we have needed him, if our offense simply would have had better execution?

Receivers were not getting open in one on one match ups. The run had no where to go, Cam Newton had no time, the tackles were forced to block longer, and Cam had no room to move around in the pocket. The Broncos had multiple people coming up the middle after Cam Newton. Receivers did not even have the sense to see this and break back to Cam in a scramble drill.

I also think he would have given our whole offense a tougher mentality.

I believe the question you should have posed is if the Panthers had Steve Smith at WR would the Broncos secondary be able to sit in cover one and vacate the middle of the field to send 8 to 9 defenders after Cam? The obvious answer is no.

The major issue was Stewart getting injured and having to leave the game for stretches of time. You could tell he knew what to do in the blocking scheme against Von Miller. Stewart helped to set up Von Miller for Remmers. When he had to leave the field and Tolbert was forced into his spot, Tolbert never touched Von Miller and just squared him up and then released as a receiver. I believe if Stewart had been in on either of Von Miller's fumble/sacks Cam would have gotten his passes off. It did not appear any other back outside of Stewart was well versed in the blocking schemes for Von Miller, and that goes back to Mike Shula preparing his offense.

I have NEVER seen a fanbase get so salty after they are the ones who won the superbowl lol We still got fans signing up to an opposing teams forum instead of actually enjoying the win themselves and partying amongst their own kind. If that doesn't scream pathetic than I don't know what does. I get it though, Peyton is being exposed as a sh*t human being and nobody is even talking about Denver winning the superbowl........it's all Panthers. Shows just how irrelevant Denver really is.

Do you believe if the broncos couldn't sit in cover one and vacate the middle of the filed and send 8 to 9 defenders at cam we would have won?

it's an odd phenomenon.  i've never seen a situation where all anybody cares or wants to talk about is the losing team.  not the future hall of famer quarterback riding into the sunset with a ring, not the once in a lifetime performance by super bowl MVP von miller, not wade phillips and his masterful gameplan.

nope, all anybody wants to talk about is cameron jerrell newton.  amazing poo.

It absolutely was an issue that may have directly led to us losing the game. There were multiple dropped balls which could have easily turned the complexion and flow of the game around.

poo   LOL  your board is funny

I find it funny that, even though your team won the superbowl, that the attention is STILL on the Panthers. Hell, you even had the Panthers on your mind since you managed to wander over here and join just an hour ago, which further proves my point that nobody cares about the Broncos, not even their own fans.
