people lost money on Superbowl 50.... betting on CAM... but from the game you can tell - it was BRUTALLY FIXED. The best team we played all year was seahawks ( They are that good : Wilson is a godamn super hero ) not broncos.

It's not as simple as "just bringing up old allegations".  That phrase belittles a point that many of us feel deserves to be discussed - and not just because we lost to the Broncos in the SB.

After the SB, a source pointed a writer to recently-released court documents that shed a lot of light on heretofore unknown details regarding both the initial incident and, more importantly, the lengths to which the Mannings went to first cover up the incident and then to twice destroy the reputation of the (alleged) victim.  She was fired from two jobs as a result if Manning's actions.

What Peyton is - alleged - to have done is wrong and, if guilty, he should have been punished for it and then given the chance to move on.  That he wasn't actually punished is another issue, but regardless, that is an old topic.

What Peyton, his Dad, and UT officials did to bury his target - both in the 90s and then again with their book - is an entirely different story.  The racially-charged cover up was morally reprehensible and it goes far beyond the initial act.  Pursuing this woman years after the fact - after she gave up, moved to Florida, and agreed to never again speak of the issues at UT - is both foolish and remarkable.  Manning's desire for vengeance directy led to this court proceeding which has led to the re-emergence of this story.  It appears to be concrete evidence of the priveleged world in which Manning - and many other famous and rich people - lives.  

It also exposes the inherent bias in the sports media - which has been a hot topic around here due to the way in which Cam has been treated for his entire career.
