Peyton is a bad dude.            He has definitely had a shield around him since he was in college..   A shield of people that are determined to keep everything negative he does swept under the rug.

The Manning's are a cancer.     I don't view it as a black or white issue though,  I view it as the Manning's believing they are above everyone else.  They are sports royalty.

Guys like Cam?   They have no 24/7 shield working for them,  to negate every negative thing they do.   They don't have a family whose reach extends far enough in the sports world to sweep things under the rug,  out of either loyalty and  respect or money.      The real world doesn't function like that for most athletes.

I know some people won't like this, but this is the truth. The NFL has invested a LOT of time and energy into portraying some of its players as wholesome, "ahh shucks, guess I'm good" characters in order to get middle America into spending their money and watching football games. Its not limited to race either. We know what kind of a shitbag Odell Beckham is. JJ Watt dances and whips every a 2 yard tackle for loss but they're sure to remind you of all of the charity work he does so its all good. Peyton Manning is a doucebag like most other NFL players, from hes tall white and speaks with a southern accent so they must protect him and his image. This story WILL disappear in a few days as most of the media will be quick to talk about how it was "so long ago" or simply assassinate the character of Shaun King along the way.

The NFL is theater. Its one step above the WWF at this point. The NFL, like the WWE makes "good guys" and "bad guys". Cam is a bad guy. Dude could defeat ISIS and they would talk about how he is taking jobs away from soldiers. Manning is a "good guy". Thus we rode off into the sunset wearing the white jersey. Its all a fuging show.

I always knew there was something weird with the Mannings. Hopefully the media gives it the coverage it deserves. HGH use, rape, racially slurs against the blacks that build his career. Fug you Peyton, hopefully one of those 'black guys' will give you the proper treatment on the field. Hope you come back.

What racial slurs?

Bill Cosby is a serial rapist accused of raping like 50 women and taking advantage of his celebrity to keep them buried for so long. Peyton Manning rubbed his dick on someone's face when he was a college sophomore. Not the same thing.

In your world it's not the same.  In my world it's the same.

Does anyone have any idea why this is all coming to light NOW?  If the Manning machine has been able to keep a lid on it all these years, why now?  Why couldn't they continue to keep it under the radar.....  I wonder if it would have all remained under wraps if Peyton hadn't gotten his second ring?  Interesting if the ring brought about karmic justice...

ohh well. so cam is the bad guy. but he's OUR bad guy suckas, and we certainly aren't gonna lose any sleep over it. I like having the best player in the NFL also be the most hated on in the NFL -- means he's doing something right, and I'm glad a dude like that, who will inevitably stay humble and eager to prove, is on our side.

cam made the biggest mistakes of his career, but in the SUPER BOWL. he got us there and the embers are still burning from his hot streak going 15-1 to do it. dude will do it AGAIN, and this time he will have a new bar set to learn from his mistakes. we're good.

    • I don't know about you but I have been a life long Chiefs fan for the past 4 years.
    • Sure there's a ton of transplants in Colorado now. But as far as Denver in particular goes the Broncos have also been around for 65 years. Someone moving to Denver is going to be far more likely to become a fan of the Broncos and even attend games versus someone moving to Charlotte and the Panthers. Like I said it's not just one single thing with us it's multiple factors.
    • He's definitely getting better. It's fun to watch.  I've been getting killed for this take, but with the current state of college football, it just takes more time to develop a quarterback. I don't think it's a plug and play position anymore. I'm really not sure if it ever was. NFL offenses have always been substantially more complex than the college game, and the college game has simplified even more in recent years. Many college teams do not have a physical playbook anymore. That's just not the national football league.  Are there freaks who have success from day 1? Yes, without question. But so many of those guys are runners, and so many of those guys tail off. Is Bryce ever going to be Josh Allen? Probably not.  What I am seeing is a guy with complete command of the offense. He's checking into things at the line, making adjustments, and making timely throws.  He goes to David Moore a ton, because Moore is a consistent route runner. Bryce knows where he is and when he should be open. I think the guy with the "super processor" needs to be comfortable in the offense in order to do the "super processing." He doesn't have elite arm talent, and he is small of stature, but if he makes the smart play consistently, and he's willing to throw the ball downfield and not make mistakes, like he's starting to show, he's going to be a starter for a long time in this league, and it's not a position I'd spend draft capital right now.
