Mike Wallace expected to be cut

Considering he's had multiple 1000 yard seasons and 10 TD with Tannehill, he would like like an all-pro next to Ginn and Brown

Wallace was with the Dolphins for two years and didn't reach 1000 yards in either season.  He did get ten TDs in one season but only five in the other.  Last season with the Vikings he only managed 473 yards and two TDs.

The last time Wallace made over 1000 yards was in 2011.  He's only hit that mark twice so "multiple" is a stretch, and he hasn't hit that mark again since leaving the Steelers prolific offense five seasons ago.

Now, if you wanna hang your hat on that single ten TD season as proving that he's something special, you might wanna go back and look up how many touchdowns Ted Ginn scored this season.

Wallace is basically a guy who used to be good.  These days, he's more just a headache.

I actually disagree with you in regards to his behavior this year. From all accounts from Minny fans, he was a stand up teammate this past season and many are sad to see him go because they hoped he would have a larger role in the offense next year.

In his past, he has been known to rub people the wrong way. Not this year though.

Not sure how seriously to take fan opinions.

Even accepting the premise though, the team decided his production didn't match his payroll.  And looking at the respective numbers, I can't really blame them.

I'm guessing he or his agent will ask for more money than he's probably worth.

Possibly. could also be a ted Ginn kind of thing where he was a good fit and good teammate but is chasing a paycheck.

He had 800 and 900 yards receiving with an average QB, that's better than anything Ginn has done in his ebtire career outside of Carolina. And Multiple means more than once so I'm stand by my statement.

And the Steelers offense wasn't "prolific" five seasons ago.

You think 10 TD with Cam is the same as 10 TD with Tannehill? LOL, You bring up Wallace struggles in Minnesota yet that would been one of Ted Ginn's best seasons statically.

Your not even taking into account the type of offense Minnesota plays, or the QB they have your just making a case against Wallace.

this whole headache thing? I haven't heard a peep out of him since he left Miami, and I never heard Steelers fans calling him a diva he just wanted to get paid more.

So much wrong...

First off, Ginn is now in Carolina, so any arguments based on what he did outside of Carolina are pretty silly.  Add in that Tannehill is a better quarterback than you think and that I'm not sure you know what prolific means anyway.

But as to perhaps the biggest failed argument of your post, I actually am taking into account what offense the Vikings use because it's the same offense we run.  In fact, Vikings OC Norv Turner was a guy Rivera wanted here.  His son Scott was here, and is now on their staff.

Now, being that Norv Turner and Ron Rivera are good friends, I imagine if the Panthers have any interest in Wallace then Rivera can just ask Turner (otherwise known as the OC that found Wallace disappointing enough to agree that they should probably let him go) what he thinks.

So no, I don't expect us to show interest in Wallace.  But if we do, I'll be okay with that because unlike some folks who spent last offseason ranting that Gettleman needed to go and we'd never go anywhere with him in charge (i.e. you) I actually trust the guys who are running this team to make the right decisions.

And that bum Cotchery in his last season with the Steelers......

How is that argument silly? If Cam can make Ginn productive, whose never done anything outside of Carolina. He can surely make someone like Wallace even more productive, who has actually had success on other teams.

Wait you really think Norv ran the same offense in Minny that he ran in SD? LOL. Serious question how often do you watch other teams play?  Minnesota ranked almost dead last in passes attempted and completed of more than 20 yards. Norv changed his entire offensive philosophy to fit Teddy and Peterson. The days of vertical offense with Norv stayed in San Diego. And its the main reason why Wallace wasn't productive

The Gettleman excuse? You're just a yes man that agrees with everything our front offense does. Like I said last time Cam can make any GM look like a genius if he can make guys like Ted Ginn  productive.

Oh, heck yeah,  Coordinators frequently abandon the systems they've used for the past 30 years and decide to just try something new.  Heck, I hear Dick LeBeau is switching to a Cover 2 this year.

(I realize you have no clue what that joke meant; nor do you know what a Coryell system is, but hey...)

Would you like to resurrect some of the quotes you made this time last year?  They'd be good for some big laughs.

LOL You really don't watch other teams play. Vikings offense revolved around Peterson and check downs, mostly Marty ball.

But keep thinking it was the same vertical offense we play, your gonna look real smart around your friends.

Thanks for helping prove my point.

And FYI, Marty Schottenheimer ran a Coryell too, kid.

(again, I know you don't know what that means)
