A little change of pace...

Seriously those of you who hold to that have no idea what you are talking about. You can't look at one pass play where you beleive he had time and use that to justify a claim he had no pressure. It is the cumulative pressure you bring that eventualy wears on a team or quarterback. If you get hit and sacked repeatedly you hear footsteps and see pressure even when it isn't there. Every quarterback feel it including Brady against New York for example.

Anyone who doesn't know that has never played a sport at any kind of competitive level or they would know better.

Any QB that is under pressure make bad decisions, I never said anything to the contrary. Your right even Tom Brady makes mistakes under pressure. But how many times have you seen Brady turn the ball over 11 times in 2 games. Jake is fastly becoming the next David Carr (as far as hearing footsteps). Any one that is still defending him, thinking he is the answer, loses all respect in my eyes. You can get by with all the "hes the best option we have" crap but another game like that and if this FO doesn't make the change it will be made for them.

Anyone who thinks that Feeley or Moore could do better are delusional. Anyone who thinks that one game makes a season are very premature. I for one think Jake will come back and have a good game. Do I know he will? Of course not. If he sucks against Atlanta, I will actually be pretty surprised. Say what you want but if you go back to last year he had some terrible games followed by pretty good ones.

I really think that he wanted to come out and do well after sucking in the playoff game so that he put too much pressure on himself. When he turned it over he dwelled on it and made it worse. In a way, he does have liitle to lose and has the opportunity to work things out on the road where he will be booed anyway.

I can't read the tea leaves or predict the future, but I have been around enough to know that Jake is the kind of guy who will work even harder when he is counted out.

If that loses your respect, I am surely devastated.:D

You are so right there is no way that Feely or Matt could do better then Jake. It takes so much talent to match 11 turnovers in two games. How will they ever do it?

To add a minor point in here, comparing DWill's blocking ability to Moore's ability to understand an entire offense is a horrible comparison. I'm sure no one really needs to explain why...

And when someone says, "Delhomme is going to run this offense better than any of the backups"... well, this is true because Feely just got here and doesn't know the offense and Moore apparently isn't capable of running the whole offense. Both cases are going to include a very basic game plan/list of plays..

As long as Delhomme gets protection, his ability to run the offense surpasses the rest, by far.

The questions though are as follows: will the OLine protect Jake, will Jake protect the ball, and most importantly, will our coaching staff ever adjust their gameplan in the middle of the f**king game... instead of after the game.
