Cam's Response To PantherNation

The comments were entertaining as usual.  These people who post in the comments sections.  What makes them think they are better people than Cam Newton is?  They speak of his maturity then go on to whine like little children.  "We don't like Cam", "Cam needs to grow up", "Cam is a little child".  I find it ironic. They all put themselves on a pedestal and they have not accomplished 2% of what Cam has done in his young 26 years of life.  Comical.

i ventured into the PFT comment cesspool because the sheer entertainment value was through the roof this season.  you could just see people seething as the panthers hit double digit wins and topped out at 14.  then everyone tried to convince themselves that the seahawks and then the cardinals would wipe the floor with us and the scourge of cam newton wouldn't be a threat to actually *gasp* win a title.  they finally got to heave a sigh of relief and unclench last week so good for them.

but to your point, i did see stuff like you mentioned starting in the third sentence.  people talking about how cam needs to act like he's been there and how immature he is for celebrating the way he does just toss the ball to the ref blah blah blah.  then, sometimes in the very next sentence, practically praying for von miller to break his legs or for a defender to take a cheap shot and blow out his knee.

i mean look at this dumbass from the rolling stone article:

Quote

He had no character. He has no pride. He is a poster child for the self obsessed, whiney, narcissist that has bedeviled sports for millennia. Plus he should learn how to spell. It's great and fine to be a show off baby when you win, in his mind and so being a show off baby when you lose is fine too. In fact, neither is the mark of a man, the sign of character, or an indicator of a leader - a true leader. All he is and all he ever will be is a follower -- of his own ego.

really?  who in the fug made you the arbiter of what is or isn't "the mark of a man" or "the sign of character" or "an indicator of a true leader"?  there are 52 (technically 45 but you know what i mean) other professional football players that follow the man's lead every sunday and a coaching staff and front office who have staked their careers on their faith in his ability to do that.

i'm not one to advocate the "if the fans were so smart they'd be working for an NFL team" argument but give me a freaking break.

they are pinheads. narrow minded little intolerant trolls who are failures at living and feel that life is best lived pointing out perceived flaws in others, but who only do that so that they don't have to feel bad about what they see in the mirror.

So true. That is also the definition of a bully. The internet's anonymous nature helps them hide.
