Cam's Response To PantherNation

One thing you can tell right off the bat with this whole "controversy" is that Cam is one shrewd business guy.  Richard Sherman and Marshawn Lynch did the exact same thing a couple years ago.

Ultimately, I love to see any athlete - especially the ones at the top of their craft - capitalize to the fullest on their own brand because at the end of the day.. these guys have such a small shelf life in not only this profession, but how long they stay relevant and marketable.

Your spot on with this post. I have noticed Denver fans saying "Cams" exposed over his superbowl performance. They act like he will fall apart and never win again. What's sad, ironic, and funny. These Broncos fans don't realize, or just plain ignorant . The great John Elway always seemed to fall apart in the superbowl, for a long time he was the "can't win the big one poster boy"  it seemed like he would fall apart look . Him winning back to back superbowls was impressive......but he also had incredible talent around him too Terrell Davis was almost unstoppable. Don't get me wrong Elway was a great QB. But Denver fans need to back past 97 and 98.

i mean the main thing i get hung up on is the idea that there is some magic method for "shutting down cam" that wouldn't rattle most quarterbacks.  like "pressure him and knock him down a lot" is some new idea and something that uniquely gives cam trouble or some poo.

others on this site have pointed out that arizona resorted to the green dog concept many times but were just out-executed and thus didn't accomplish dick in terms of a pass rush.  if the key to "exposing" cam is to have the literal best pass rush in the league then you have to consider that, assuming my math is correct here, there are 30 teams the panthers could potentially play that can't pull that off.  sounds good to me.

Instead of the Broncos (outside of Peyton Manning) and their fans being happy they won the Super Bowl, they're spending all of their time and energy talking about Cam.

Cam is living rent free in their minds.

So, at the end of the day, Cam wins!

His way...
