It's been touched on here, but worth reiterating.

This is not something the Panthers chose to do today.  This is something that was already written into the contracts and thus, was known about well ahead of time by all parties.

Cotchery was a good dude. 

Roman liked the video of Cam collapsing on the sideline when he was having his tantrum when the Broncos made the conversion. The caption was "Cam Newton after the Broncos made the two point conversion. It's okay Cam we will be back next year @cameron1newton #keeppounding"

i don't see any harm in that. What else did he like? Because that's all I saw. Let's not stir up drama.

Cotchery had a solid year but CBrown will now assume Cotchery's spot on the depth charge now that we get KB back. 

Harper was a band-aid player at best and is an easy player to find an upgrade with more money to spend on FA.

im still not sold on Tre Boston as a starter in our backfield. 

Coleman had an outstanding season and I think he sticks with us.

Finnegan and McClain could be upgraded through FA and I will never see Bene' as anything more than a solid nickleCB, so I'm looking for a solid player added across from J-No. 

Im pretty sure Bersin is done or gets stowed away on our PS.

Yes, it includes the up to date 2016 cap estimates.  As far as salary cap sites go, "over the cap" is about as good as they come.  They've updated our numbers to include the Harper and Cotchery voiding, and now we're sitting right at $17.365 Mil under the cap.  Cutting ties with CJ and Allen, will net us $19.5 mil in additional cap space, which would put us at a very nice $36.865 mil under the cap.
