Yeah no one every does that with QB's. Ryan Clady was taken 11 picks after Long makes a lot less and he only gave up a 1/2 a sack last year. And you just said long had 2 in one game last week.

just because Clady was picked much later on in the draft does not mean the Dolphins fuged up taking Long instead of him. Instead of using one prime example in Clady which is a cherry picker for you why don't you mention all the other tackles that gave up more sacks. Such as Walter Jones, Jordan Gross, Matt Light, Joe Thomas, and the list goes on.

I'm not taking away anything from Clady because he played outstanding giving up less than a sack while Cutler threw the rock over 600 times, but don't think it only takes that to try to convince people that Long is overrated, you're going to need a little more.

because the argument you're presenting is pretty much irrelevant.

Long is still one of the top tackles in the league, and unless we have Clady on our team, a comparison between the two is moot. Abraham will be facing Jordan Gross this Sunday, who's on par with Long.

Abraham beat Long for two sacks in one game all I was saying is he is still only in his 2nd year he is still going to make mistakes that a et like Gross might not. I'm not saying Gross is better but when you have a true Statue of a QB in Jake your going to give up a few more sacks. So that compassion is moot if you want to get technical.

Pennington got sacked just about the same amount as Jake did last year, and he drops back more...

I think the first time Abraham breaks loose, Jake will use his check down to D.Will and Abraham will get a roughing the passer call.

No he's actually very good

for example did you know he only gave up 2.5 sacks the entire season while starting 16 games his rookie year?

He gave up 3 this past week. Two to Abraham and one to Bierman. In Long's defense, on of Abraham's sacks was when Pennington moved up in the pocked and Abraham got him from behind. The other Abraham sack was a total manhandling of Long.
