Brandt speaking the truth.  The future is still bright for Newton and we should keep that in mind when looking to next year and the near future.

We still have the greatest 26 year old in the history of team sports.  The league has never seen anything like him.  As Cecil said "just scratching the surface"

And the press will continue to be as fickle as ever constantly waiting for him to trip so they can do their self righteous happy dance.

Many around the league will continue to whine, frustrated and desperate soccer moms will continue to write letters, banners will be torn down, and fat emo fans from other teams will keep starting petitions to have him banned from their stadiums while he keeps on winning.

Looks like the uber competitive great QBs tended to blow their tops from time to time.  Wonder why? Cam is just Cam, and everyone wants their pound of flesh!

I REALLY wish we had won that game, not even just for my own reasons.  I wish Newton would've dibbed and dabbed and Super-Man'd while giving balls away and taking before the end of game selfies.  I wish it so bad, because the media that wanted SO badly for him to crumble or just fail in the slightest is finally getting their shot.  And they are taking FULL advantage of it.

I like to think he will stop tripping and take that next step. Only one way to top this season and perfection is hard to reach. There are bound to be some speed bumps along the way.

Not trying to be over dramatic.  But wow, this hate has gone to an amazing new level.  The lack of respect from comments in Cam articles, such as Gil Brandt's article stating that Cam is still the number 1 ranked QB in his book.  It is amazing.  These people live in an alternate universe.  They can't even admit that Cam is a great QB, forget about the personal attacks on him for his personality.  It is at an all time high this hate.  I can't even put into words how much worse it just became since the Super Bowl. 9 out of 10 comments are now ripping Cam to shreds.  I don't think this is an exaggeration.  In prior times it was more like 50/50.  One thing is for certain.  Cam is going to have plenty of motivation to dominate the NFL for the second straight year.  Can't wait to see how he does with his #1 receiver back on the field.  Look out haters.  You are going to hate even more once this happens and it could be dangerous to your health.  May I suggest some medications such as Ativan or Xanax?  It will relax you and help to prevent heart damage.  The reality is that Cam is going to own this league for a very long time if he can stay healthy.  You can keep prophesying or should i say rooting for  career ending injuries if you would like, but it doesn't mean that it will happen.  He has just finished his 5th season and still hasn't suffered a major injury.  He is built much different than the RGIII that you want to compare him to.  You hope this happens because your classless and you know that an injury really is the only way to stop Cam.  He is everything that Gil Brandt said that he is.

We lost the last game and get all the cam hate unreal... 

I was headed to the gym about 945 tonight and on the way I was listening to gill on Sirius when this Denver fan chimed in to say cam showed no class after the game for some reason it got me upset so I called in and waited 45 min to say my piece.

i brought up the constant criticism ever since he has been in the league , should he have acted differently sure but it's getting blown way out if proportion. Went on to bring up Brady saying the same thing as cam and Payton manning walking off the field against the saints and all were mvp. This all will blow over and they will be jumping back on the wagon in preseason.
