Really hate that his career ended up going the way it did.  A quality name to add to our linebacking greats.  I'm picturing myself at 95 telling my greatgrandkids the untold story of Jon Beason, the little-known LB that ignited Luke Kuechly's career.

Jon Beason was an amazing talent.  He was right there with TD as one of the greatest Panthers.  He is a warrior battling through severe injuries.  I was sad when we traded him though I understood why.  I would love to have him back to finish his career back home where he belongs.  Come home Jon.  Sign this man Gettleman.

Bring Beason back on a 1 day and get him back in some capacity on the staff. I'm not sure if the rookies get mentor type staff, but I would love to see him in that role teaching our new guys how to bring the pain.

Wasn't he a problem in the locker room we had to ship out of town in the end?

In his last 2 years in NY he had 17 total tackles. His last two full years with the Panthers he totaled 20 tackles. We made the right move.

I've never heard anything at all about a locker room thing, I've always heard he was one of our leaders. The way I remember it explained was that Gettleman was doing him a favor to get him some playing time because he'd be benched here based on play coming off his injury.
