Consolation Prize: free book for five days

Fifteen and 1: An Unofficial and Unfiltered History of Professional Football in Carolina released almost exactly one month ago and became the top-selling sports history book on Amazon for more than a week. If we had won on Sunday I was going to change it to "18-1" and write a few playoff chapters and a Super Bowl analysis, but obviously that didn't happen and now none of us care about football.

So now the book is free until Sunday. Anyone can download a copy, to any device. Phone, tablet, laptop, kindle, whatever you have. If you don't want to read it now, download it and save it for later. You will be in football mode again one day (probably in like three weeks) and you'll be glad you didn't have to pay for it.

My only request is to please, please, please leave a written review when you're done with it. Nothing fancy, just review it like you would any other piece of work.

Thanks everyone!

Damn...I missed this. That's what I get for taking a break from football I suppose.

unfortunately it's all but lost its marketing steam; not too many people have a reason to buy a book about a random season where the panthers lost the superbowl in the end. if we'd won i could've change it to 18-1 and marketed it accordingly, but... c'est la vie.

thank you to everyone who was willing to pitch in support for the effort!

edit: also thanks to jeremy for allowing me to post it here. hopefully the huddle has gotten a few bucks off of what sales were made!

About to download it now. Since it's a history of pro football in Carolina does it include the WFL team from the 1970s and the winless World League team from 1991?

no, that's just how i had to order the wording to avoid saying "carolina panthers" in the title :-/
