He had already completed the catch at that point.

He had secured the tip of the ball and rolled over and was already down.

Head ref on the broadcast as well as the rest of the world saw it.

Broncs fans can be some sore winners can't they.

Go drink more Budweiser. Budweiser.....Budweiser.....Bud

Ummm, gee that was hard...

People are going to see what they are going to see.  That definitely isn't conclusive evidence of the ball hiting the ground.  The ball is also tipped at a forward angle giving the impression that it might be touching the ground.  I see his left hand firmly holding the ball and 2 fingers are missing not including the thumb.  Where do you think those 2 fingers might be?  I say under the ball and thats why they are out of the picture.  Like I said go back to the Broncos board and celebrate your "win".  Why did you come here to speak with us is the big question?    Why?  We don't need your Broncos fans opinions.  We have our own.  No penalties the entire 2nd half.  That is some really sound fundamentally clean football there.  If you believe that they didn't make any penalties in the entire half then I got some snake oil to sell you.  Many of us don't believe that the officiating was fair/equal.  Could we have still won had we not turned the ball over so many times and had less penalties and dropped passes?  Possibly?  But does it matter.  No.  We are venting.  That's all.  You guys will be in the history books as the 2016 Super Bowl champs.  We will be forgotten just like the rest of the NFL's second place teams.  We will be back soon though.  Will you guys?

Edit:  One more thing.

No part of the catch rule or any interpretation says the ball can’t touch the ground. When you actually watch the play, the ball does not shift in his hand at this part of the reception. Under the rules, that’s control.

The ball then comes out when he rolls on his back, but it doesn’t touch the ground at that point, and of course he regains clear possession for the rest of the play.

I'm going to presume the OP is being tongue in cheek, because this is some real tinfoil hat non-sense.

Additionally, about the no catch call;  if the receiver catches it clean instead of playing butterfingers with the ball all the way to the ground, then we aren't having this discussion.  It was a 50/50 call and it went their way.  Catch the ball clean and don't put the play to the ref's discretion.

@ Bronco guy:  Congrats on your team's win, go away.

That is one of those calls where it could not be reversed from the original call based on the replay.  It really sucked and I think he truly did catch it, however by the replay rule I don;'t see how you overturn it.  If it had been ruled a catch I don't see how you could overturn it to not be a catch.  It sucked and I was screaming my ass off, but that is how it goes.

With that said, it is pretty damn pathetic when an opposing fan takes the time to register on the other teams forum and rub their nose in it.  It must be a pretty miserable existence to feel the need to do that.  You don;t have any Broncos fans to enjoy the victory with?

Again, more deflection. This game was not "fixed" it was not "rigged", it was a legitimate game. Were there some bad and missed calls? sure, but it happened on BOTH SIDES. Your entire offensive line spent most of the game holing..literally holing our LBs with all their might. No calls on that.

Yes, I know it went the other way too, but don't think for a minute if every single call went down you would have changed the fortune of that game.

Oh, and to the people that thing the challenged play on the incomplete pass was actually complete, you're wrong..the ball hit the ground and it was obvious.

we knew something was up when they didn't reverse the cotchery catch and I do mean catch. That led directly to the fumble td. It never touched the ground. That was obvious. The hand was under the ball.

This bronco fan only joined 7 hours ago.

He came to the board to "congratulate" our team on a great season and went on to insult any of our fans who dare questioned the officiating stating something to the effect of "if all the holding by your O-line was called the game would have been much, much worse for you."

It is pretty apparent that he is Clete Blakeman.
