Has anyone else not watched anything sports related today?

This loss definitely hurt a lot more than the 2003 super bowl loss because the expectations were so high.  We all believed we had the best team and had overcome every obstacle along the way.  We had shamed every hater and critic all year long and we were finally going to make them eat that well deserved crow.

To answer your question.  I have not listened to any sports talk on the radio, espn or nfl network.  I have not visited any other teams boards either.  I don't know when I will again.  I just dont want to hear the talking heads saying I told ya so and I dont want to listen to all the nonsense about Cam either.  I am weary and don't have the energy for the non-sense.  I know what they are saying  It will be nothing to build up the team or the players.  It will only be tear down and destroy.    We had a great season and I don't want to listen to any disparaging remarks about our team or the season we had.

nah. i've hit decompression period.

i'm too locked into the huddle to stay away, but i'll spend the next month or so casually posting and generally not caring about sports. which is fine, it honestly happens every year anyway. this one just sucks a little more.

I listened to the NFL station on Sirius xm this morning on the way to work, but I could only take so much so I turned it off after 5 minutes. i haven't tuned to ESPN or any sports channel, even deleted my fb app so I wouldn't hear the nonsense. It Just doesn't feel right, I feel like a piece of me died when we lost yesterday.
