If the Panthers thought Remmers was going to guard Von Miller by himself than Rivera okayed a seriously flawed  game plan. He should have had help constantly, and when he did in some cases it didn't help with guys like Dickson missing his blocks completely.  We poo the bed, nothing else to say..All your warts show during big games.

Its not like the guy is Byron Bell.  He played decent for us all year and then got owned by a guy our coaches should have known he couldn't handle by himself.  We might as well have asked him to go out and run routes and catch passes.  Sure he stunk the place up but had plenty of company, both on the field and in the booth.

The OC should have thought up protections to double and triple Von Miller at times.

Many in the forums knew that before the game. The Chiefs had the answer and it was to send multiple blockers at Miller and Ware and run option runs off of it.

Glad to see Ed Dickson call out the coaches hanging the OTs out to dry and putting Cam Newton in a bad position. He has been blocking well against the Cards and Seahawks in max pro to help the OTs during the playoffs and now he saw less blocking and more pass routes, which he was never the main target.

Leaving Mike Remmers alone on an island to try and deal with Von Miller all fuging game long is the reason we lost this game. You can say what you want to say and look for any other reason, but IMO that right there is the one thing that we just could not overcome. There is not a QB alive that can operate successfully when he is being pressured like Cam was last night. You just cannot win that way, period.

Remmers has been a massive overachiever since he came here, and kudos to him for that....but he was fuging exposed yesterday, time after time after time, and Shula/Rivera did absolutely nothing to try and fix it....

oh, and Oher was not much better.

Number 1 priorities this offseason - upgrade the tackle position if at all possible. Upgrade the DE position if at all possible....add a CB or 2.

Oher had a good season, this wasn't an issue until last night.  I am thankful for Oher because otherwise we would have had our Bell rung more than just in the Superb Owl.

Yeah. Making fun of a guy who gave us his everything all season and wound up in a bad situation against an elite player is just hysterical.

Bet those jokes at Cam's expense are a riot too.
