The real reason Cam Newton left the post game interview

Listen to what is being said next to him. Not sure why Cam Newton was forced to hold a post game press conference where the defense of the opposition is within speaking distance.

That is Denver corner Chris Harris speaking in the background.

In short, Cam did not leave because of the media. Cam left because he shouldn't have to sit there and listen to the opposition talk.

Update: According to our good buddy Darin Gannt, all Superbowl press conferences are set up as such.

OK, what he was saying wasn't so bad as the NFL fuged up the presser process.  What a bunch of morons that should have known better.

I agree it wasn't anything unusual or inflammatory at all.

But.... why should Cam have to sit there and listen to it. He is there to speak to the media, not listen to the Broncos. Typically post game press conferences are held on opposite sides of the stadium. That is how I have always seen it.

What's interesting is to check the story titles about Cam's presser and the game.  The language is very telling...

Who wants to walk into that kind of a shark tank?

Like he has been rubbing it people's faces all season? Cam and his hardcore nuthuggers need to grow up.

This really isn't about "rubbing it in people's faces", this is about the NFL  totally screwing up the post-game interview locations. They should be apart for (really) professional reasons, particularly on the sport's biggest stage.  Your nut-hugging references should probably be directed to another location as well.
