Positions we need to upgrade

I was crucified for saying this earlier in the season.  Nortman is not good.  We need to upgrade.

We need a lot of ST help. A punter would be worth a late round pick just to see if we can upgrade. We traded our 6th and 7th to Chicago and Seattle, right?

In order of need:

DE (with Johnson/Allen gone, this needs to be addressed. Addison and Delaire are situational guys at best)

RT (if they don't believe Williams is the answer already, I loved his potential out of college but he's seemed slow to develop and injured)

RB (not sure what will happen with Stewart, and an injection of speed here would be nice)

CB (Norman will be tagged, but this unit still needs more firepower, McClain/Finnegan were solid additions for the situation, but it would be nice to get new blood here)

FS (Harper provided great leadership, but is a liability in pass coverage. Give him his walking papers and let Boston or a rookie/FA take that spot.)

WR (put this lower because I believe with KB back, Funchess taking a big step forward and Brown/Ginn to take the top off, this unit could be fine)

P (Nortman has been disappointing for several years now. Has regressed drastically since his promising rookie season)

I disagree about WR! Philly is good and will get better, but we need someone that perfects what we are asking of him! Me thinks a player like Corey Coleman transforms our Offense. Also, I think Cotchery is done! Really digging a good vet WR to replace him!

DE - too old at this spot Denver showed and we already knew from our history what DEs can do
RT - lol
LT - Oher good but probably not good enough
WR - need people who can both catch AND get open..not one or the fugin other
WR - need people who can both catch AND get open...not one or the fugin other
Punter -25 yard punts in the SB...grats man if only there were little kids in the punt pass and kick competition who could do that
CB - JNo tagged and then gone unless he home town discounts which he said he wont...need more depth here

Oh and OC

Shula done showed us why we hated him even when Cam was carrying his fat ass slog all season....and we never let up...because booya we just ran another 1st and 10 run up the middle with 16 Denver broncos and the water boy in the box.

1) Gunner. Teddy Williams is awful and his play cost us at least 3 points. He leads the league in ST penalties.

2) Tackle. Oher is fine but we need competition for Remmers.

3) Corner. This is a depth issue. Not a must-do if Tillman is back.

I  would agree on an upgrade to the RB position but do you think CAP or Wegher might be that guy?  Cap barely got any touches and Wegher got none >

CAP wasn't even active last night.

I don't believe RB is an issue. Both CAP and Wegher are big time gamers just waiting to happen.

Edit: Their ability to block wil be the only thing to hold them back...and, uh, maybe the O-line's run blocking (LOL).

Why did we not try to develop Daryl Williams any this year?

He missed 4 or 5 games at the beginning of the season when he got injured in week 1. (Sorry, I don't remember the exact details of how long he was out...)  By then the oLine had very good chemistry and we were winning.  You don't want to mess with Oline chemistry unless you have to.

The Seattle trade is a conditional 2017 pick.  Not clear if Norwood met the conditions since he was only active one game.

I think Allen was a 2016 6th round pick.
