I was crucified for saying this earlier in the season.  Nortman is not good.  We need to upgrade.

The only position I think we need to go out and get someone for is CB. Norman and Bene are good but we need a solid 3. SS, DE, RT, and WR we have guys on the roster that are ballers. Boston had some mental lapses but he's an upgrade. Ealy was the best player on the field for us last night. We didn't see much of Williams but give him a shot. And we're getting KB back. All we need to do is fill in behind those guys.

DE hands down #1,  Allen and CJ are not what they used to be and may both be gone next year.  Ealy is finally starting to show but still need that pass rush.  Defense wins championships and you saw last night how having 2 stud pass rushers on the ends can impact the game.  

#2a TE- we love that 2 TE sets.  Love Dickson but I have been highly unimpressed with him this post season.  He completely wiffed a couple blocks last night when helping the OT's on those OLB's.

 

2b WR-. Corey Brown started to show at the end of the season. Funchess looks like he could become a solid player and get KB back next year.  But we still need an explosive quick guys with consistent hands.  WR's dropping passes were huge last night

He's been in my doghouse for several years.  He shanks one or kicks a 25 yarder at the worst times.

For a lot of needs, the answer, it seems, is already on the roster. Darryl Williams, Ealy, Boston, Bene, should start. Benji comes back.  I wouldn't be surprised if we drafted 1 or even 2 DEs and signed another value-vet at DE and DT.  I've always wanted an elite Safety but they are so few and far between, I won't hold my breath on that one.

 I thought Star balled out last night. I hope we can lock up both DTs for years to come.

Getting KB and Bene back will be huge.  That upgrades us at two positions of weakness immediately.  Boston will be starting in Harper's spot next year, and i expect Daryl to be our starting RT to open training camp.  Another year of experience for Funch, and Shaq will be huge, i expect both to be very productive next year.  Ealy obvously will be starting at one end spot, but the other spot is completely open (CJ and Allen both are going to be cut).  Only position on the team where we have no real quality depth is DE and it will be addressed probably both in FA and the Draft.

Most importantly as we will have a lot of cap space, we must get Norman, KK and Star locked up.

In order of need:

DE (with Johnson/Allen gone, this needs to be addressed. Addison and Delaire are situational guys at best)

RT (if they don't believe Williams is the answer already, I loved his potential out of college but he's seemed slow to develop and injured)

RB (not sure what will happen with Stewart, and an injection of speed here would be nice)

CB (Norman will be tagged, but this unit still needs more firepower, McClain/Finnegan were solid additions for the situation, but it would be nice to get new blood here)

FS (Harper provided great leadership, but is a liability in pass coverage. Give him his walking papers and let Boston or a rookie/FA take that spot.)

WR (put this lower because I believe with KB back, Funchess taking a big step forward and Brown/Ginn to take the top off, this unit could be fine)

P (Nortman has been disappointing for several years now. Has regressed drastically since his promising rookie season)

we need tackles oher was great this year but we need to find a future lt , oher can start next season but remmers has to be back up maybe we will see big dayrl start their but we should add another . receivers are fine when kelvin comes back we could prob get an overlooked free agent wr but other than that thats not our problem . we need to build to the strength of our team and that is defense especially pass rush
