Mike Shula: "Cam wasn't good enough". Probably because you called a horrible game, Shula.

I mean, Cam was constantly overthrowing receivers and he single handedly gave up 13 points plus an interception. He definitely was not good.

Hey genius. I think most people realize this.

But what they also realize is maybe it's not such a hot idea to continually call long developing passing routes when your OL is getting obliterated consistently within 3 seconds, call Stewart up the middle every fugging first down, and wait 5 years to get a play call in.

Either watch the game, or don't try to talk with the adults Junior.

He literally called the same exact play each first down and he has the nerve to call out the mvp

I have always said that Shula is not our biggest problem on offense (this was before this season) but that NO top 25 college team would hire him for the exact same position.

Shula doesn't have a lot to work with but he is a problem.

Now with that said, Shula was right. Newton didn't play good enough to win. But he better not be the one to say so when you called the exact same running play on first down.

Cam did miss some early throws like the one to Philly Brown that would have been a first down and up the seam to Ginn but the first down play calls were atrocious. Too many times we put ourselves into 2nd or 3rd and long. 3 False starts. Key drops. Just a lack of execution by the offense.

Pick was Ginn's fault, both fumbles were on Remmers more than Cam though he's not completely free of blame on those.

Mike Shula is gigantic turd and completely and unfathomably inept.

EDIT:  Since people are wondering about the context here is David Newton's full tweet: "Panthers offensive coordinator Mike Shula: "We weren't good enough. Cam wasn't good enough." Said this when asked how Cam Newton played."

Your CONSTANT 1st down calls into a wall for no gain all game, Shula, were GENIUS.

FUGGING GENIUS!

I don't know why you all are shocked. This team has always sucked when Cam got a lot of pressure. See: 2014. He was fuging awful tonight and he deserves to be called out for it, especially since the defense nearly goddamn won the game for us despite the offense.

You're an even worse poster in the Panthers section than you are in the Tinderbox. My word.
