Unfortunately the biggest play of the game was the catch that was called incomplete.  Completely changed the momentum of the game and actually directly led to 7 points for the ponies after Cam fumbled.  I hate that the NFL officials had such a big hand in the outcome.  That being said we still could have won this game,  Remmers was garbage, the special teams did nothing good the entire night.  Shula went back to being bad Shula.  How many runs up the middle on first down do we want to run for no gain that puts us in 2nd and long?  He actually did it to start the last meaningful drive of the game with about 4 minutes left.  We should have gone full no huddle in the 4th quarter and wore their defense out.  They wouldn't have had time to catch their breath.  Oh yeah, back to the &*#$ you NFL officials.  I can't think nothing but the worse when a play that obvious gets called wrong.  Show me where that ball hit the ground for a second.  Post the pic.  Go ahead.  It doesn't exist.  That play really defined our night and got the ball rolling for the Donkies.  Still a fan and will be for life. Keep pounding fellows.

It is pretty shocking that Cotch's catch was ruled not a catch, when you think of that "catch" in the final minutes of the Bengals-Pittsburgh wildcard playoff..

Exactly! That play changed the entire complexion of the game. It deflated us and we never could dug our way out of it. Right after Remmers gives up that strip sack touchdown and just sunk that kids confidence. Cams too.

funny if you look at the falcons game we lose same type of call from the refs, no excuse this team has more then enough experience to know better then to let the refs dictate the game, instead they collectively laid down.

really really really disappointed, all this team had to do was not play the worst game of it's life to win, and that's exactly what we did offensively. people thinking it will be a easy road back are crazy, we're in the nfc and you always need luck to make it to the superbowl....should have took advantage of this opportunity but yet we fielded quite possible the worst recent offensive performance besides the broncos in superbowl 48

There were some tick tack fouls. Turners penalty was bush league. I've seen so many linemen push other players after a play.  They call this to give them good field advantage.  The catch was complete as well I hate saying this because it sounds like I'm being biased. Sincerely,  those plays killed drives so much. Easily gave the Broncos the momentum.

I understand what your saying, but you cant say that missed call that led to a net -7 points didnt have an impact.   Yes there were many variables, but that one imho was too much to overcome.  Our players did have a role in this outcome.  Absolutely.  Like I said, we still could have won, it just became a hell of a lot more difficult once the refs gave them that kind of momentum.  We will never know, but I would have liked to see the refs have no influence whatsoever on the outcome.  The did though.  Nobody can deny that.  We may have gone down and scored 3 or 7 points, instead cam fumbles and they score.  Huge missed call by the refs, that is simply unexplainable.

Yea I agree with you. Those were two separate statements. Fug the refs, as in fug em, they can eat poo. absolutely horrible officiating. The only game Iv'e seen with worse officiating that this one was the divisional round against the 49ers.

and then Cotch fugged up and had 3 big drops as well.

Sorry, I can see why that was confusing

What OC in their right mind would leave Remmers 1 on 1 with Von Miller? Are you insane?

Those 7 man protections were awful designs. I have seen the Panthers do so much better this season with 7 man protections that sealed the pass rush off from Cam.

You had 2 things to do all game on offense. Double team Miller and Ware all game, and continually run misdirection plays. Neither happened and the Panthers lost.

Also, I noticed Rivera and Shula both threw Cam under the bus with their post game comments. I wish players would throw the coaches under the bus more often when they completely screw up a game plan and put their players in positions to lose.
