Is anyone legitimately surprised?

Great season. Magical time for everyone, all that jazz.

But is anyone legitimately surprised that we lost the Superbowl? We had a chance to win, we had a chance to lose. This team over the past 20 years has always served up heartbreak, and it's just another season in the end for us.

Look at all the trolls rolling out from beneath their rocks.

WOW.

Seriously.  If you are that kind of fan gtfo of here.  Seriously what are you doing?  The team played over their heads all year... went from counted out to 18-2.  Seriously did you hear that... 18-2.  And they let you down?  Who the fug are you Tom Brady?  get the hell out of here.  This team brought so much positivity to Charlotte, the Carolinas, and the NFL as a whole.  They were a breath of fresh air all year, they played with heart and soul, and left it all on the field.

I understand being upset and emotional, but attacking this team is ridiculous and reveals nothing but personal shortcomings.  They are hurting worse than we ever could.  They will be back.  Either support the team or get the fug out of here,

...I know...right?

Not surprised at all at the loss. I make it to about 4-5 Panthers games a season but I couldn't care less if the Panthers win/lose on any given Sunday. College football is a lot more entertaining

You got me, I'm just a troll rolling out from underneath his rock. Or, according to others, I'm just attacking this team. Say what you want about analysis of the game, say what you want about analysis of the season overall, but don't you dare challenge me on my feeling that this team delivers me heartbreak more than anything else.

I'm not leaving my fandom. I'm not giving up on the team. I like what some of you are doing, you're doing the "Rah rah! Panthers gave me a great season, no matter the outcome! Rah rah!" but for me, this is not a good feeling ending. So don't you dare chastise me for feeling kind of down and out tonight. If you expect 100% of the fans to feel completely content with the ending tonight, then hey, that's all you.

Excuse me for being kind of down.

I can honestly say I was shocked.  I didn't think the gap between the #1 and #2 defense would be so large, but damn if it wasn't.  They handled us with ease and I honestly thought we would dismantle them and hang 30 points on them.  If we didn't turn the ball over 2 times in the redzone, both resulting in TD's, they'd have scored 10 points on our Defense.  Just a mental collapse and poor execution this day sadly.

Carolina in general are the masters at failing when they get close. Watch a team that already won it in the past 10 years win it again next year.

So much for the "future" the Panthers were supposed to bring in, it'll be the Patriots, Broncos, or Packers at the top again next year like always unfortunately.

Remember when we tired to mirror the Steelers when we first came in and now the Seahawks...how about building our OWN brand and quit being behind the "8 ball"...lol

That is what I like to see...
