BINGO.  People are idiots, they're blinded by anger right now, and somewhat rightfully so, I think I just said more than 2 words to my wife in 3 hours.  That said, Gettleman helped build a roster with 10 pro bowlers without KB in the mix, I've shed the idea that Ron is a mediocre coach, he is a good coach as long as he can handle organizational and knows his defensive stuff, Cam is 26 years old and fresh off an MVP season...yea, lets cut ties with that, I'm sure DA will get us to a superbowl DERP, and as for Jericho, I think this is his last year on contract, if not, I don't see him coming back with the youth and other needs.  People destroy Remmers, and again, RIGHTFULLY SO, but he was in a position he shouldn't be in much longer, Daryl Williams will take over at RT next year and Remmers will be a swiss army lineman.  More than either tackle IMO, once Norwell went out, the pressure started coming from right up the gut, and took away the little time Cam had and made it absolutely no time.  KB coming back is big, but we need DE help, a nickel CB (because I think that Bene will move outside), and some O-line depth.

Agree. You lose Norwell and Philly Brown and let Demarcus Ware and Von Miller eat you up at tackle all night and it's gonna be a long night. I honestly thought our offense did nothing to change as far as scheme goes. That was one of the things I thought would be a positive. To go in the locker room and see how they played us for a half of football and make changes. We could have dinked and dunked all night with the way they were blitzing and we still tried to take long plays and let them develop. I don't blame Shula for trying to stay with the run game but I believe we could have went outside more with the way they were blitzing up the middle.

I mean, I don't think it's fair to hate on OP too much.  He had a self-revelation.  He's not becoming ANOTHER team's fan.  He just realized he's invested too much in a "sport".  The fact is, we all probably did.   I love watching but when you sit back, in quiet, and think about how much you care about grown men, throwing a football around, doing things that really don't matter to you in your life in the grand scheme of things except something to talk about at work with your coworker or the hope you can beat the Steelers so that guy down the hall can get trolled all week you kind of realize that the human race has a long way to go.   We're watching grown men hit each other, causing lasting physical and mental damage and cheering it on.   It's basically gladiator sports just with no death (not till some decades later).

However, he'll be back, everyone will, for the draft.  We're addicts, and as much as it hurt, we'll be back for our hit.    I can't deny that it was such a fun year, I probably got too deep into it.   Especially when you realize that sometimes it doesn't matter how GREAT your team is, if the cards are stacked against you against officiating and storylines, it's going to be hard to win.  That's just something you have to accept with the NFL now.

I admit this season meant nothing to me until I saw the SB appearance I'm always SB or bust...the AZ playoff win really got me up but that was the only true high point of the season for me so....it does beg the why question...why do I care so much or why isn't every game super hype and happy wins or whatever it used to be...dunno wtf...I used to celebrate every win now it's just....dunno.

I'm currently laying in bed sulking because 52 grown men who throw a ball around for a living didn't cross a white line enough times. How pathetic is that? Richard Sherman made a comment a few days ago about how this isn't life. It's a game. A game that is absolutely meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Maybe he's right.

I don't think anything has been apart of my life more than the Panthers. For 14 years, every Sunday I'm up on my only day off watching every play. I order Sunday Ticket. I buy the jerseys and t shirts. I go to games if I'm close enough etc etc etc. The emotional investment I've put into this franchise trumps what I've put into past relationships, jobs and school. After the sack fumble my first thought was to buy alcohol and drink away the pain. 14 years of it,  And for what? Even if we win a Superbowl or 5, so what? What changes? What do we get? Have Bronco fans been granted eternal happiness? Does Denver have a 0.3% unemployment? Being emotionally invested in sports is completely retarded and it took me 15 years to figure it out.

Maybe I'll treat the NFL like how I treat WWE. Watch to laugh at the dumb stuff and roll my eyes at the stupid stuff. But I wont scream at the tv or stump or swear because something that I didn't like happened, because there is no reason to do that. I just want to be entertained. Not emotionally dragged through barbed wire. Maybe this was a wake up call to focus on the things that matter. I can use those 12 hours every Sunday to bolster my resume, plant a garden or help out at a homeless shelter.

I'll root for the team, but I won't get invested. I won't buy a jersey t shirt or ticket. I won't order Sunday ticket. I'll check the scores on Sunday night or maybe even catch a game if it interests me, but I can't attach myself to a corporation only to be kicked in the damn balls. Never again. Keep pounding Panthers. I'll be rooting for you. From afar.

Those same thoughts crossed my mind for a second. Do what you got to do to improve your own quality of life. I'll definitely be cutting back on what I spend on the team. Of course that was well into the thousands this year so thats not saying much.

Literally nobody cares.

poo post, and you're a loser for even taking the time to type it. And the fact that you put more into watching football than a relationship in the first place makes you kind of weird and sad.

You cared enough to write there damn  sentences to tell me that nobody cared.
